Thanks to the generous support of Tucson Federal Credit Union, Kino School is expanding its music program with a new, dedicated music room designed specifically for instruction, rehearsal, and performance. This foundational gift made the project possible.
Kino Learning Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit school that has remained steadfast in its commitment to small classes, individualized educational programming, and the fundamental values of progressive education. No matter how the standards of public school education have changed, from Back to Basics to Common Core to Authentic Assessment to AIMS testing, Kino maintains its focus on exploration and hands-on learning.
A purpose-built music room allows Kino School to:
Music education is strongly linked to improved academic outcomes, attendance, collaboration skills, and emotional regulation. This room is an investment not only in arts education, but in the long-term success of Kino students.

support is needed for materials, systems, and finishes
that make the space fully functional and durable.
